Yesterday, hundreds of supporters of nuclear site permit legislation participated in a press conference and committee hearing on Senate Bill 321. Even more of you contacted your representatives on behalf of this critical legislation. Thank you for your support and action!
As you know, Senator Jason Crowell, chairman of the Veterans’ Affairs Committee, which is considering this legislation, did not call for a vote on the nuclear site permit bill. We expect that vote to occur in the coming weeks.
We saw great success and support for Missouri’s energy future yesterday, but we won’t let up now. With your help, we will continue to urge Senate President Pro Tem Rob Mayer and Senator Crowell to allow a fair, up or down vote on this legislation as soon as possible.
