St. Louis Post Dispatch: Missouri to study EPA carbon rule compliance strategies through national program

Missouri is one of four states that will study compliance options for proposed federal carbon pollution rules through a program sponsored by the National Governors Association, the group announced Thursday.

The Environmental Protection Agency rules limiting power plant carbon dioxide emissions are expected to be finalized this summer, and each state will have a year to come up with a plan to cut its carbon emissions.
