Missouri Needs Infrastructure Strengthening and Regulatory Streamlining (ISRS) Legislation

To The Editor:

As a long-time resident of Missouri, I see that states next door are benefiting from modernized electric systems. I am concerned that our state is falling behind.

Lately, we have heard a lot about Infrastructure Strengthening and Regulatory Streamlining (ISRS) legislation. To me, this legislation is one solution to address important energy issues.

ISRS would enhance our electric regulations, allowing utilities to proactively invest in infrastructure updates at the most affordable rate. This would yield cost savings for consumers and secure abundant, affordable energy for years to come.

Let’s take advantage of this legislative opportunity and pass ISRS. This legislation will also create jobs and help our economy. It’s time for legislators to act and move on ISRS.
