First wind turbine arrives in Columbia
COLUMBIA, MO — Crews installed the area’s first wind turbine this afternoon in Columbia.
Colin Malaker recently got a city permit to install a wind turbine at his dental office on Buttonwood Drive.
The Falcon 12-kilowatt wind turbine produces electricity for Malaker’s dental business.
Malaker also owns and operates Midwest Power Solutions.
Malaker says his company carries a full line of wind turbines for homes and small businesses.
